Treat yourself with a unique fine dining experience closer to nature than ever before, set in a beautiful apple orchard right by the shore of lake Ivösjön.
You will get a basket with produce from the forest and the nearby farms, and cook a dinner together over open fire. Try this with award-winning fruit and berry drinks from the area, or maybe a beer brewed with birch sap. After the dinner, stay overnight in our pleasant rooms in our farm hotel and enjoy the surroundings for an extra day or two.
This area of Skåne is well known for its wilderness. Find light beech forests and dark fir forests, big lakes and meandering rivers – all perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking, canoeing and fishing. There is truly something for every nature lover.
The Edible Country is a do-it-yourself dining concept consisting of 23 outdoor tables, where Vånga 77.1 has been chosen one of them. The concept is created by Visit Sweden, Sweden’s national tourism organisation.
1. Flavors from Vånga, SEK 200/person
The reservation includes a cooking kit, recipes and a raw material basket for cooking a soup over open fire a. It also includes Vånga’s award-winning apple must, plates, cutlery and table decorations. You cook the meal yourself. Show up and enjoy the cooking, the food, the nature and the company.
2. Flavors from Vånga and chef, SEK 750/person
Come cook a three-course meal over open fire with our chef. The reservation includes cooking kits, recipes and a raw material basket with vegetables, herbs, fruits and berries from the kitchen garden, game meat from the fores and fish from the lake. It also includes Vånga’s award-winning apple must as well as plates, cutlery and table decorations.
3. Flavors from Vånga and chef, with overnight stay, SEK 1850/person
Come cook a three-course meal over open fire with our chef. The reservation includes cooking kits, recipes and a raw material basket with vegetables, herbs, fruits and berries from the kitchen garden, game meat from the forest and fish from the lake Ivösjön. It also includes Vånga’s award-winning apple must, as well as plates, cutlery and table decorations.
After the meal, stay overnight in our lovely rooms or exciting wilderness hammocks. Savour a tray with a selection of local delicacies, enjoy our sauna raft, canoes, fishing boat and fishing license. Or go for a swim!
Booking information of Edible Country Vånga Table
– You can book the table on Fridays 4th May–30th September
– The table seats 4-12 guests
– Only one group at a time can book the table
– You will need outdoor clothes
– Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your booking
– 100 meters from the facility
– There is alternative space for cooking and eating in bad weather
Payment
When booking you pay 800 SEK. The rest is paid on arrival.
Ask us if you want to book on other days and with less than 4 or more than 12 guests.
